Raiders Releasing Veteran OL Kevin Boothe

Mike Garafolo of FOX Sports reports that the Raiders are releasing veteran OL Kevin Boothe on Monday.

  • According to Garafolo, Boothe could find interest as a street free agent in the coming weeks.

Boothe, 31, signed a two-year, $2.625 million contract with the Raiders as an unrestricted free agent last year. He would have made a base salary of $1.175 million for the 2015 season.

According to OverTheCap.com, releasing Boothe will free up $1.3 million in available cap space while creating no dead money.

In 2014, Boothe appeared in 10 games for the Raiders, but played just 19 total snaps, according to Pro Football Focus.
