Jason La Canfora of the NFL Network reports that Raiders S Tyvon Branch will sign his franchise tender and report to training camp.
La Canfora adds that Branch is still looking to get a long-term contract done, so there might be a verbal agreement between the two parties to address his contract at a later time. Branch will make $6.2 million for the 2012 season and will be relied upon to lead a questionable group of defensive backs next season.
