The Oakland Raiders announced Tuesday that they’ve signed FB Jamize Olawale to three-year contract extension.
- Ian Rapoport reports that Olawale’s three-year extension with the Raiders is worth $6 million and includes a $760,000 signing bonus.
- Olawale also has a $1.14 million roster bonus in 2016.
Olawale, 26, originally signed on with the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent out of North Texas back in 2012. He wound up later signing to the Cowboys’ practice squad before the Raiders added him to their active roster.
Since then, Olawale has signed one-year deals in each of the past three seasons with the Raiders.
This season, Olawale has appeared in 10 games for the Raiders and ran for 110 yards on 24 carries (4.6 YPC) to go along with right receptions for 79 yards receiving and one total touchdown.
