Cooper wound up being the first receiver to come off the board in another deep receiver class. He is considered by many to be the most polished receiver in this year’s draft class, as well as the best route runner.
It will be interesting to see him develop alongside of QB Derek Carr in the coming years.
According to OverTheCap.com, Ryan is projected to receive a four-year contract worth $22,663,120, which includes a signing bonus of $14,742,268.
During Cooper’s three years at Alabama, he caught 228 passes for 3,463 yards receiving to go along with 31 touchdowns receptions.
