The Oakland Raiders announced the signing of former Dolphins LB Jelani Jenkins on Monday.
Jenkins took his first free agent visit to Oakland on Monday and it appears as though the Raiders were able to close the deal.
Jenkins, 25, is a former fourth-round pick of the Dolphins back in 2013. He played out the final year of his four-year, $2.632 million rookie contract and is now testing the open market for the first time in his career.
In 2016, Jenkins appeared in nine games and recorded 29 tackles, no sacks and a pass defense. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 87 linebacker out of 87 qualifying players.
