Raiders Sign LB Horace Miller & WR Milton Williams, Cut Two

The Oakland Raiders signed LB Horace Miller and WR Milton Williams to contracts on Wednesday, according to the NFL Transactions release.

To make room for the new additions, the Raiders placed DB Travell Dixon and Austin Hill on waivers.

Miller, 24, originally signed on with the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent out of UTEP back in May of last year. Seattle later waived him with an injury settlement.

In October, Miller signed on to the Panthers’ practice squad and later received a future/reserve contract from the team. Carolina ultimately elected to part ways with Miller in April.

Williams, 21, recently signed on with the Raiders as an undrafted free agent out of Delaware State. He was placed on waivers just a few weeks, but it appears as though the Raiders have changed their minds about giving him an opportunity to compete for a job this summer.

Neither Miller or Williams has appeared in an NFL game.
