Raiders Sign OT Tony Pashos, Release Alex Barron

The Oakland Raiders agreed to terms with veteran OT Tony Pashos on Monday.

Pashos, 33, was recently released by the Redskins, but the Raiders have a major need at tackle, so it makes sense for them to see what Pashos offers at this point in his career.

It appeared as though Oakland was going to enter the 2013 season with Alex Barron as their starting left tackle, but the team released Barron in order to make room for Pashos.

Jared Veldheer can’t return soon enough, but it will at least be interesting to see who starts for them at left tackle against the Colts this weekend.
