Raiders Sign Rookie LB Brady Sheldon

Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports that the Raiders have signed rookie LB Brady Sheldon to a contract on Wednesday.

The Raiders recently cut three players, so it wouldn’t be surprising to see them sign a few more players in the coming days.

Sheldon wound up going undrafted out of Ferris State a few months ago but he did try out for the Raiders during their rookie minicamp. Unfortunately, the Raiders passed on signing him to a contract following the sessions.

During the 2016 season, Sheldon recorded 54 tackles, one sack, 2.5 tackles for a loss and three pass defenses over the course of 14 games.
