The Oakland Raiders announced the signing of veteran S Larry Asante on Wednesday.
Asante, 26, is former fifth-round selection of the Cleveland Browns back in 2010, but he unfortunately last just a few months with the team before he was placed on waivers at the start of the regular season.
Asante signed to the Buccaneers practice squad later that year before joining the the Colts on a reserve/future contract at the end of 2012.
Last year, Asante appeared in five games for Indianapolis, but didn’t record a single statistic.
