Raiders Sign Second-Round CB Obi Melifonwu

The Oakland Raiders have signed second-round CB Obi Melifonwu to a four-year rookie contract, according to Adam Schefter.

This leaves first-round CB Gareon Conley as the last remaining Raiders’ draft to sign their rookie deal.

Melifonwu, 23, was selected by the Raiders with the No. 56 overall pick. According to OverTheCap.com, Melifonwu will receive a four-year contract worth $4,509,376, which includes a signing bonus of $1,419,544.

During his four-year college career at Connecticut,  Melifonwu recorded 349 total tackles, 11 tackles for loss, eight interceptions, 16 pass defenses, two fumble recoveries, and two forced fumble.
