Raiders Sign Third-Round Pick TE Clive Walford

The Oakland Raiders have signed third-round TE Clive Walford to a four-year contract on Tuesday, according to his agent Drew Rosenhaus.

This leaves second-round selection DE Mario Edwards as the only player from the Raiders’ 2015 draft class still unsigned.

According to OverTheCap.com, Walford is projected to receive a four-year contract worth $3,074,504 and includes a $794,504 signing bonus.

During his three years at Miami, Walford caught 87 passes for 1,299 yards receiving and 12 touchdowns over the course of 36 games.

From what I’ve read, he’s looked really good so far. If Cooper and Walford both live up to the hype, the Raiders offense and especially Carr should be greatly improved.
