Raiders Sign Two To Futures Deals Including OLB Andy Mulumba

The Oakland Raiders officially signed two players to future/reserve contracts on Monday including:

  1. OLB Andy Mulumba
  2. LB Dwayne Norman

You can expect the Raiders to make more future signings once their season if officially over.

Future/reserve contracts are essentially an opportunity for players compete for a roster spot in offseason workouts and during training camp.

Mulumba, 26, wound up signing on with the Packers as undrafted free agent out of Eastern Michigan back in 2013. However, Green Bay elected to not tender him a restricted offer, making him an unrestricted free agent.

The Chiefs later signed him to a one-year contract in April but he was, unfortunately, among their final roster cuts.

In 2015, Mulumba appeared in six games and recorded four tackles and no sacks after he suffered a season-ending ACL injury.
