Raiders Sign Veteran DL Frostee Rucker

Adam Schefter reports that the Raiders have signed veteran DL Frostee Rucker to a one-year contract on Monday.

Rucker worked out for the Jets a few months ago but left New York without a deal.

Rucker, 34, is a former third-round pick of the Bengals back in 2006. He spent five years in Cincinnati before joining the Browns for the 2012 season.

Unfortunately, Cleveland cut Ruckers loose just one year into his five-year contract and he eventually caught on with the Cardinals for the 2013 season. Arizona brought Rucker back on a one-year contract last season.

In 2017, Rucker appeared in all 16 games for the Cardinals and recorded 29 tackles, 1.5 sacks and a pass defense. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 68 interior defender 122 out of qualifying players.
