Raiders Sign WR Josh Cribbs

According to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports, free agent WR Josh Cribbs has agreed to terms with the Oakland Raiders.

The Lions, Raiders, Giants and Jets were all reportedly interested in Cribbs’ services.  At age 29, Cribbs has been having issues with a lingering knee injury that had Jets general manager John Idzik state that his knee was not quite ready yet, per Connor Orr of the New York Star-Ledger.

Cribbs’ deal will probably be a one-year deal as he will look to prove that he can return from his knee injury as the same player.  Cribbs will look to  handle all return duties for the Raiders and have limited contributions as a receiver in 2013.
