Rand Getlin of Yahoo Sports, citing a league source, reports that the Raiders are signing WR/KR Trindon Holliday to a contract on Wednesday.

Holliday, 28, is a former sixth-round pick of the Texans back in 2010. He spent two years with the Texans before later being claimed off of waivers by the Broncos.

Since the, Holliday has played for a number of teams including the Giants, Buccaneers, and most recently the 49ers. However, San Francisco elected to cut him loose shortly after the draft.

Holliday was an extremely productive kick returner for the Broncos a few years ago as he totaled 1,327 kick return yards, 752 punt return yards and four touchdowns over the course of two years in Denver.

However, he’s had three fumbles and hasn’t been much of a contributor on the offensive side of the ball. Pro Football Focus had him rated as the No. 12 kick returner in the league last year.
