Bill Williamson of ESPN reports that the Raiders signed veteran DL C.J. Wilson to a two-year contract worth $2.8 million deal earlier in the week.
- Williamson adds that Wilson will receive no guaranteed money as part of this agreement.
Wilson, 28, is a former seventh round pick of the Packers back in 2010. He spent four years in Green Bay before joining the Raiders as a free agent during March of last year. However, he was among their final roster cuts a few weeks ago.
In 2014, Wilson appeared in all 16 games for the Raiders and recorded 23 tackles, two sacks, and a fumble recovery. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the N0. 27 defensive end out of 59 qualifying players.
