Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Raiders have reached an agreement with OT Marshall Newhouse on a two-year deal.
Overall, Newhouse is coming off of a pretty solid year for the Giants, so this could prove to be a decent value signing for the Raiders, especially considering how limited things are at offensive tackle.
It’s also worth mentioning that Raiders GM Reggie McKenzie was in the Packers when they drafted Newhouse several years ago.
Newhouse, 28, is a former fifth-round pick of the Packers back in 2010. He spent three years with the Packers before signing a one-year contract with the Bengals back in March of 2013.
The Giants later signed him to a two-year contract and he was once again testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent.
In 2016, Newhouse appeared in 10 games for the Giants and was rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 46 offensive tackle out of 78 qualifying players.
