The Oakland Raiders officially placed LB Dwyane Norman, DB Ahmad Thomas, and DT Jordan Wade on waivers Monday and signed LB Najee Harris, DL LaTroy Lewis and DL Chris Casher to contracts.
Harris wound up going undrafted last weekend but was among the players to try out for Oakland this weekend. He’ll now get an opportunity to compete for a spot on the Raiders’ 53-man roster this summer.
During his senior year, Wagner started all 11 games and recorded 56 tackles, 10 tackles for a loss, four sacks, two interceptions, three quarterback hurries and returned a blocked punt for a touchdown.
Lewis, unfortunately, went undrafted out of Tennessee last week before securing a tryout with the Raiders.
During Lewis’ four-year college career at Tennessee, he recorded 77 tackles, 12 tackles for a loss, 4.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, two pass defenses and a recovery over the course of 29 games.
