Scott Bair of CSN Bay Area reports that the Raiders are signing former Eagles S Nate Allen.
- According to Bair, the agreement was completed in essence last night, but the two sides wrapped it up this morning.
- John Middlekauff first reported that the Raiders were hosting Allen for a visit on Wednesday.
Allen, 27, is a former second round pick of the Eagles back in 2010. He signed a one-year contract to return to Philadelphia last year.
In 2014, Allen recorded 62 tackles, one sack, four interceptions, three fumble recoveries, a forced fumble and five pass defenses over the course of 15 games. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 28 safety out of 87 qualifying players.
