Free agent TE Cooper Helfet‘s agent announced on Twitter that his client has signed a contract with the Oakland Raiders.

Helfet, 27, wound up signing on with the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent out of Duke back in 2012. Since then, he’s been on and off of the team’s active roster.

Seattle re-signed him to a one-year, exclusive rights contract. However, he was waived and later reverted to their injured reserve list after clearing waivers.

The Seahawks later decided to waive Helfet back in August, making him an unrestricted free agent after he clearing waivers once again.

In 2015, Helfet appeared in 14 games for the Seahawks and recorded 13 receptions for 130 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
