Report: Raiders Considing Mike Holmgren For “Leadership Role”

According to ESPN.com, the Oakland Raiders are talking to former Browns president Mike Holmgren about a “leadership role” with the team.

Holmgren has reportedly visited with the team regarding a position. Oakland has been looking at potential new leaders for their team and Holmgren does have a relationship with current GM Reggie McKenzie.

The report adds that part of the responsibilities for this position would be to help them secure new stadium. There’s no timetable for a decision, so we’ll have to see what comes of this situation.
