The Oakland Raiders waived LB Miles Burris from injured reserve with an injury settlement on Thursday, according to the NFL Transactions release.
- The Raiders also waive/injured LB Jacoby Hale and cut TE Scott Simonson.
Burris, 26, is a former fourth-round pick of the Raiders back in 2012 who was waived one month ago, but later reverted to the team’s injured reserve list.
In 2014, Burris appeared in all 16 games for the Raiders and recorded 110 tackles and a pass defense. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the worst qualifying inside linebacker in the league by a wide margin.
