Raiders Waiving DE Jimmy Bean

According to Vic Tafur, the Raiders are waiving DE Jimmy Bean to make room for LT Donald Penn on the active roster.

Bean, 23, signed on with the Raiders as an undrafted free agent out of Oklahoma State back in September of last year to the team’s practice squad.

The Raiders re-signed him to a futures contract in January. He has yet to appear in an NFL game.

During his four-year college career, Bean recorded 104 total tackles, 27 tackles for loss, 12.5 sacks, one pass defense and three forced fumbles.
