Raiders Will Stick With QB Matt McGloin In Week 14

Raiders HC Dennis Allen mentioned on Friday that he is inclined to stick with QB Matt McGloin as the team’s starting quarterback for their Week 14 game against the Jets, per Steve Corkran of the Contra Costa Times.

Allen would not go as far to confirm that McGloin will finish out the season as the Raiders starter, but it looks like it’s job for the foreseeable future barring a poor performance. Oakland will clearly use the final month of the season to evaluate what they have in McGloin and Terrelle Pryor

While McGloin, an undrafted free agent, has impressed throughout his time in the NFL, Pryor may have a larger upside in the long-run. It would make plenty of sense for the Raiders to add another quarterback this offseason and the draft offers plenty of long-term options for the team to consider.
