Steve Corkran of the Oakland Tribune reports that it’s “looking more and more like” the Raiders could keep RB Darren McFadden out of Sunday’s game against the Broncos because of a foot injury that suffered last week. Corkran tweets that McFadden was seen wearing a protective boot and was showing crutches which further indicates that the injury a real concern.
Michael Bush has had a pretty big roll in the teams offense in the last few weeks and it looks like he’s a safe bet for a lot action again on Sunday. If McFadden is unable to go rookie Taiwan Jones could see some work which would be interesting considering he showed to encouraging signs during the preseason.
As for McFadden’s injury, he’s currently dealing with a mid-foot sprains which can players out for a week injuries depending on the severity of the injury. Following Week 8’s game reports mentioned that McFadden could have returned to the field but it looks like the team would prefer not to rush him back to soon.
