Raiders Worked Out DT Ego Ferguson

Pro Football Talk is reporting that the Raiders worked out free agent DT Ego Ferguson on Wednesday.

This comes just a week after the Packers waived Ferguson with a failed physical designation.

Ferguson, 25, was taken in the second round of the 2014 NFL draft. He’s currently in the final year of his four-year, $4,113,203 contract and stands to make a base salary of $980,892 for the 2017 season.

Chicago elected to waive him with an injury designation at the start of the season and he was later placed on injured reserve after clearing waivers.

Last week, the Bears officially moved on from Ferguson before he was later claimed by the Packers and cut loose soon after.

In 2015, Ferguson appeared in four games for the Bears and recorded just three tackles before he was placed on injured reserve.
