Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports that the Raiders worked out LB Justin Tuggle on Monday.
Tuggle is, of course, the son of former Falcons LB Jesse Tuggle.
It’s likely that the Raiders are considering Tuggle as a possible future/reserve signing in the coming days.
Tuggle, 27, wound up signing on with the Texans as an undrafted free agent out of Kansas State back in 2013. He has managed to make the 53-man roster in each of his three years in the NFL before signing a free agent deal with the Browns last year.
Cleveland elected to cut Tuggle loose coming out of the preseason and he wound up sitting out the entire season.
In 2015, Tuggle appeared in 11 games and recorded 18 tackles for the Texans.
