Raiders Worked Out Two Defensive Ends

According to Howard Balzer, the Oakland Raiders brought in two free agents for workouts this week including DEs Darius Jackson and Ja’Von Rolland-Jones.

Rolland-Jones, 24, signed on with the Bengals as an undrafted free agent out of Arkansas State back in May. He was waived during the preseason and caught on with the Rams’ practice squad a couple of months later.

Los Angeles elected to cut him from their practice squad earlier this month. He has yet to appear in an NFL game as well.

During his four-year college career, Rolland-Jones recorded 179 total tackles, 63 tackles for loss, 42 sacks, one interception, three pass defenses, two fumble recoveries, and 10 forced fumbles.

Jackson, 24, originally signed on with the Jaguars as an undrafted free agent out of Jacksonville State back in May. He was among the Jaguars’ final roster cuts coming out of the preseason.

He has yet to appear in an NFL game.
