NFL Reduces Michael Crabtree & Aqib Talib’s Suspensions To One Game

Adam Schefter reports that the NFL has reduced the two-game suspensions for Broncos CB Aqib Talib and Raiders WR Michael Crabtree suspension to one game after hearing their appeals.

The NFL has already confirmed the news:

Crabtree, 30, is a former first-round pick of the 49ers back in 2009. He spent six years in San Francisco before signing on with the Raiders in 2015.

Crabtree is in the third year of his five-year, $34 million contract that included $19 million guaranteed and stands to make base salaries of $6.25 million and $7 million over the next two years of the agreement.

In 2017, Crabtree has appeared in 10 games and caught 42 passes for 502 yards receiving and six touchdowns.

Talib, 31, is a former first-round pick of the Buccaneers back in 2008. He signed on with the Broncos in 2014 and is currently in the fourth year of his six-year, $57 million contract that included $26 million guaranteed.

Talib stands to make base salaries of $11 million over the next two years of the agreement.

In 2017, Talib has appeared in 11 games and recorded 19 tackles, one interception returned for a touchdown, a forced fumble and six pass defenses.
