The Los Angeles Rams announced Friday that they’ve officially activated CB Aqib Talib from injured reserve and placed WR Nick Williams on waivers.
Talib, 32, is a former first-round pick of the Buccaneers back in 2008. He spent four years in Tampa Bay before joining the Patriots in 2012.
The Broncos later signed him to a six-year, $57 million contract that includes $26 million guaranteed before trading him to the Rams this offseason for a fifth-round pick.
Talib stands to make a base salary of $11 million for the 2018 season.
In 2018, Talib has appeared in three games for the Rams and recorded nine tackles, no interceptions, a forced fumble and two pass defenses.
