Rams Announce Austin Davis As Their Starting Quarterback

Rams HC Jeff Fisher announced Wednesday that Austin Davis will be their starting quarterback moving forward.

St. Louis will take on the Eagles this weekend, but it’s interesting that the Rams have committed to Davis as their starter, despite signing veteran Shaun Hill to a contract during the offseason to improve their backup quarterback position.

Davis already appeared in three games this season, completing 72.3 percent of his passes for 754 yards, three touchdowns and three interceptions. The Rams are currently 1-2 on the season.
