Rams CB Kayvon Webster Out For Season With Torn Achilles

Pro Football Talk is reporting that Rams CB Kayvon Webster has been diagnosed with a torn Achilles tendon.

This, of course, means that Webster’s 2017 season is over and you can expect the Rams to place him on injured reserve in the coming days.

Webster went down with a non-contact injury and immediately grabbed his right foot, implying that this could be an Achilles injury.

Webster, 26, is a former third-round pick of the Broncos back in 2013. He has played out his four- year, $2,745,800 contract before signing a two-year, $7.75 million contract that included $4.25 million guaranteed with the Rams this past March.

Webster stands to make a base salary of $3 million for the 2018 season.

Entering today’s game, Webster had appeared in 10 games and recorded 35 tackles, no interceptions and six pass defenses.
