Rams Claim CB Dwayne Gratz Off Waivers From Jaguars

Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that the Rams have claimed CB Dwayne Gratz off of waivers from the Jaguars on Tuesday.

The Rams could use some help at cornerback after they recently cut Cody Sensabaugh and have Trumaine Johnson dealing with an ankle injury.

Gratz, 26, is a former third-round pick of the Jaguars back in 2013. He’s currently in the final year of his four-year, $3.1 million rookie contract and set to make a base salary of $790,076 for the 2016 season.

The Jaguars waived Gratz on Monday to make room for CB Aaron Colvinwho was reinstated from the reserve/suspended list.

In 2016, Gratz has appeared in three games and recorded five tackles and no interceptions for the Jaguars.
