The Los Angeles Rams claimed DL Quinton Jefferson, OL Austin Neary, and OL J.J. Dielman on Sunday, according to Alden Gonzalez.
Dielman, 23, was selected with the No. 176 overall pick by the Bengals in this year’s NFL draft. He earned second-team All-Pac 12 honors in 2015.
He received a four-year contract worth $2,819,648, which includes a signing bonus of $201,944. The Bengals elected to waive him on Saturday as they trimmed their roster down to the 53-man limit.
During his five-year college career at Utah, Dielman started 31 of 32 career games before sustaining a season-ending injury during his senior year. He appeared as a right tackle through his first three years before starting at center his senior season.
