Rams Cut 14 Players Including WR Damian Williams

The Rams announced more roster moves on Tuesday including the release of LB Keshaun Malone and DT Doug Worthington.

• St. Louis also waived/injured WR Isaiah Ferguson to get down to 75 players.

The St. Louis Rams announced the release of players 11 on Monday, as they work to trim their roster down to 75 players. 

The list of players either released or placed on waivers includes:

• WR Damian Williams
• 

OT Steven Baker
• 
OT Travis Bond
• 
CB Imoan Claiborne
• 
S Jay Hughes
• LS Tyler Ott
• 
K/P Michael Palardy
• 
WR Tyler Slavin
• TE Brad Smelley (injured)
• 
LB Korey Toomer (injured)
• C David Wang

The Rams also placed CB E.J. Gaines on season-ending injured reserve Monday.

Williams, 27, is a former third-round pick of the Titans. He spent the first four seasons of his career in Tennessee before he signed a one-year contract with the Dolphins in April of last year.

However, Williams was unable to make the Dolphins final 53-man roster coming out of the preseason and was ultimately released.

The Rams wound up signing him to a reserve/future contract back in early January.

In 2014, Williams appeared in three games and caught just a single pass for 14 yards.
