Rams DE Robert Quinn Released From Hospital Tuesday

Update:

TMZ Sports is reporting that the Robert Quinn‘s family called 911 Monday morning after he was shaking uncontrollably and his mother-in-law believed he was having a seizure.

During the 911 call, Quinn stopped shaking and actually stood up. However, the 911 operator advised him to lay back down until emergency personnel were on hand. He was later transported to the hospital and released earlier in the day.

It’s worth mentioning that Quinn was treated for a brain tumor while in high school, but it remains to be seen if this episode was related to that condition.

Steve Wyche of NFL Media reports that Rams DE Robert Quinn has been released from the hospital on Tuesday after he admitted himself Monday morning with a non-football related illness.

According to Wyche, Quinn is back at the Rams’ practice facility but there’s still no word regarding when Quinn will return to the practice field.

Rams HC Jeff Fisher said that DE Robert Quinn is still undergoing tests for an unspecified condition but added that “things look encouraging,” per Alden Gonzalez.

He’s feeling much better,” Fisher said, per Gonzalez. “He kept saying to me over and over, ‘Coach, I just want to get back, get my mind right, and get back on the field as fast as I can.'”

  • Quinn told Fisher that he just wants to get back on the practice field.
  • Fisher did, however, say that Quinn being admitted to a hospital is “highly unlikely” to be related to the brain tumor he had in high school.
