Rams Designate CB Aqib Talib To Return From Injured Reserve

The Los Angeles Rams announced that they’ve officially designated cornerback Aqib Talib to return from injured reserve on Monday.

This officially opens a three-week window of time for the Colts to add him to their active roster or he would revert back to injured reserve.

Talib, 32, is a former first-round pick of the Buccaneers back in 2008. He spent four years in Tampa Bay before joining the Patriots in 2012.

The Broncos later signed him to a six-year, $57 million contract that includes $26 million guaranteed before trading him to the Rams this offseason for a fifth-round pick.

Talib stands to make a base salary of $11 million for the 2018 season.

In 2018, Talib has appeared in three games for the Rams and recorded nine tackles, no interceptions, a forced fumble and two pass defenses.
