Rams Designate WR Nelson Spruce As Player To Return From I.R.

The Los Angeles Rams officially designated WR Nelson Spruce as their player to return from injured reserve on Friday.

Spruce, 23, joined the Rams as an undrafted rookie out of Colorado back in May and was able to make the team’s 53-man roster. He was signed to a three-year, $1.62 million contract and is earning a base salary of $4500 this season.

The Rams placed Spruce on injured reserve a month ago. He has yet to appear during an NFL game.

During his four-year college career at Colorado, he accumulated 294 receptions for 3,347 yards receiving and 23 touchdowns.
