Rams HC Jeff Fisher & GM Les Snead Expected To Be Safe For 2016

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that all indications are that Rams HC Jeff Fisher and GM Les Snead are safe for the 2016 season, despite another disappointing season in St. Louis.

Since being hired by the Rams back in 2012, Fisher has led them to a record of 25-35 (41.8 percent) and has yet to produce even a .500 record or a playoff appearance.

On top of that, he’s already fired two offensive coordinators in the past year and the defense has yet to live up to expectations, despite using a number of first-round picks on the unit.

It’s rare for a head coach to keep his job with this kind of record, but there are more factors in play for the Rams including a possible move to Los Angeles.

Reports have said previously that keeping Fisher in place until knows where it will be playing is likely, as this would allow them to start over was things had settled down in terms of their new home.

We’ll have more regarding Fisher’s future with the Rams as the news is available.
