Rams COO Kevin Demoff mentioned that they are in contract talks with WR Brandon Lloyd, via Turf Show Times.
“We had initial discussions in Indianapolis,” Demoff said. “We plan to continue talking.”
St Louis has shown interest in keeping Lloyd but a deal may only happen he keeps his salary demands reasonable. The Rams can always grab a receiver in the draft considering that they’re shopping the #2 overall pick for extra selections. They’ll also need to address the cornerback position so ensuring that they don’t over spend on a wide receiver would be a smart decision on their part.
Lloyd has also been linked to the Patriots in previous reports but it’s hard to gauge their specific interest at this point.
