Rams Promote Jedd Fisch To Asst. Coordinator, Shane Waldron To QBs Coach

Albert Breer of TheMMQB.com reports that the Rams are promoting Jedd Fisch to assistant coordinator/offense and moving Shane Waldron to QBs coach. 

Waldron actually interviewed for the Bengals’ head-coaching job this offseason before they settled on Taylor. 

Fisch, 42, began his NFL coaching career with the Texans back in 2001 as their defensive quality control coach. He had brief stints with the Ravens, Broncos and Seahawks before being hired by the Jaguars as their offensive coordinator back in 2013.

After two seasons in Jacksonville, he was hired and later took a position at the University of Michigan as their QBs/WRs coach. UCLA would later hire him as their offensive coordinator/QBs coach before he took over for Jim Mora Jr in 2017. 

The Rams hired Fisch as a senior offensive assistant last year.
