Rams RB Trey Watts Suspended Indefinitely For Substance Abuse Violation

The NFL announced Wednesday that Rams RB Trey Watts has been suspended  indefinitely without pay for violating the NFL Policy and Program for Substances of Abuse.

Watts had already been suspended four games earlier this season, so this could every well be the end of his time in St. Louis.

Watts, 24, signed on with the Rams as an undrafted free agent out of Tulsa back in May of last year. St. Louis elected to waive Watts a few weeks ago, but later signed to their practice squad after he cleared waivers.

Last year, Watts appeared in 14 games for the Rams and ran for 30 yards on seven carries (4.3 YPC) to go along with three receptions for 18 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
