Rams Re-Sign C Tim Barnes To Two-Year Contract

According to Sam Farmer of the Los Angeles Times, the Rams are re-signing C Tim Barnes to a two-year contract extension.

Rams GM Les Snead said two weeks ago that they would like re-sign Barnes, so this was an expected move.

Barnes, 27, signed with the Rams as an undrafted free agent out of Missouri back in 2011. The Rams signed him to a one-year extension last year and was named a starter during the season.

In 2015, Barnes appeared in all 16 games for St. Louis and was rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 29 overall center out of 39 qualifying players.
