The Los Angeles Rams officially re-signed restricted free agent DT Ethan Westbrooks on Monday along with exclusive rights free agent DE Matt Longacre and DT Louis Trinca-Pasat.
This is actually new contract for Westbrooks, as they did not execute the original-round tender that would have cost them $1.797 million for the 2017 season.
Westbrooks, 26, wound up signing on with the Rams as an undrafted free agent out of West Texas A&M back in 2014. He played out his rookie contract with the Rams before receiving an original-round tender a few months ago.
In 2016, Westbrooks appeared in all 16 games for the Rams and recorded 24 tackles, two sacks, a fumble recovery returned for a touchdown and one pass defense.
