Rams Re-Signing RB Chase Reynolds

Jim Thomas of The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that the Rams have agreed to terms on a one-year contract with RB Chase Reynolds.

  • Thomas adds that Reynolds had interest from a few teams including the Raiders before agreeing to return to the Rams.

The Rams elected to not use a restricted tender on Reynolds, which means you can expect this deal to be worth less than the low-round tender value of $1,671,000.

Reynolds, 28, originally signed on with the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent out of Montana back in 2011. He lasted just a few weeks in Seattle before signing on with the Rams and spending the next five years in St. Louis.

In 2015, Reynolds appeared in 12 games for the Rams and totaled nine kick return yards, but no offensive stats.
