Rams Waive CB Eric Patterson

The Los Angeles Rams have waived CB Eric Patterson on Wednesday, according to Nick Wagoner.

Patterson, 23, originally signed on with the Patriots as an undrafted free agent out of Ball State following this year’s NFL draft. However, he lasted just a month in New England before he was waived and later signed to the Colts’ practice squad.

The Rams elected to sign him to their practice squad back in October and later promoted him to their active roster.

Patterson is in the second year of his three-year, $1.575 million contract and stands to make a base salary of $525,000 for the 2016 season.

In 2015, Patterson appeared in three games and record three total tackles.
