Rams Sign Four Players, Waive Four

 

The St. Louis Rams signed four players on Tuesday including: OT R.J. Dill, OT D.J. Morrell, LB Pat Schiller and LB Lawrence Wilson.

• The Rams waived: LB Caleb McSurdy, OT Abasi Salimu, WR Diontae Spencer and LB Tavarius Wilson. 
• St Louis placed DB Christian Bryant and DT Ethan Westbrooks on the non-football injury list
  Tuesday as well.

Morrell signed on with the Lions as an undrafted free agent out of Old Dominion, but was waived close to a week ago. He offers great size at 6-foot-5, 325 pounds.

Schiller, 25, was with the Falcons in 2013, but he was ultimately waived before the start of the season.He has yet to appear in an NFL game, but he will at least get an opportunity to impress the Rams’ coaching staff during training camp.

Wilson, 26, was selected by the Panthers in the sixth-round of the 2011 draft. He has bounced around a bit playing for the Bears and Toronto Argonauts since the Panthers waived him.
