Rams Sign Three Draft Picks Including TE Gerald Everett & WR Cooper Kupp

The Los Angeles Rams announced Friday evening that they’ve signed three of their draft picks including TE Gerald Everett, WR Cooper Kupp, and S John Johnson.

Everett, 22, was selected with the No. 44 overall pick by the Rams after they elected to trade down from No. 37 with Buffalo. In total, the Rams acquired a second- and third-round pick in this year’s draft and also gave up a fifth-round pick.

According to OverTheCap.com, Everett will receive a four-year contract worth $6,044,448, which includes a signing bonus of $2,535,960.

During his three-year college career at UAB and South Alabama, Everett recorded 107 receptions for 1,584 yards receiving (14.8 YPC) for 13 touchdowns. He also finished with eight rushing attempts for seven yards and four touchdowns.

Kupp, 23, was selected with the No. 69 overall pick by the Rams. According to OverTheCap.com, Kupp will receive a four-year contract worth $3,354,760, which includes a signing bonus of $954,760.

During his three-year college career at Eastern Washington, Kupp recorded 428 receptions for 6,464  yards receiving (15.1 YPC) and 73 touchdowns. He also finished with 17 rushing attempts for 58 yards and one touchdown. As a punt return specialist, he recorded 25 returns for 426 yards (17.0 YPR) and three touchdowns.

Johnson, 21, was selected with the No. 91 overall pick by the Rams after they acquired the pick when they traded down from No. 37 with the Bills. In total, the Rams picked up a second- and third-round pick.

According to OverTheCap.com, Johnson will receive a four-year contract worth $3,157,752, which includes a signing bonus of $757,752.

During his four-year college career at Boston College, Johnson recorded 167 total tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, six interceptions, 14 pass defenses, three fumble recoveries, and two forced fumbles.
