The Los Angeles Rams officially signed WR Fred Brown to their practice squad following a recent workout.
The Rams’ practice squad now consists of:
- DT Omarius Bryant
- DB Isaiah Johnson
- WR Paul McRoberts
- FB Sam Rogers
- OLB Carlos Thompson
- TE Johnny Mundt
- DT Quinton Jefferson
- C Aaron Neary
- DB Kevin Peterson
- WR Fred Brown
Brown, 23, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Colts as an undrafted free agent out of Mississippi State back in May. He was set to make base salaries of $465,000 and $555,000 over the first two years of the contract when the Colts cut him loose coming out of the preseason and later signed him to their practice squad.
Brown had been on and off of the Colts’ practice squad since the season began.
During his college career at Mississippi State, Brown caught 50 passes for 785 yards receiving and five touchdowns over the course of three seasons and 23 games.
