Rams Unlikely To Sign WR Rueben Randle, Despite Bringing Him In For A Visit

Nick Wagoner of ESPN reports that despite the Rams bringing in free agent WR Rueben Randle for a visit, it’s unlikely that Los Angeles will sign him to a contract.

The Rams have been the only reported visit for Randle since free agency officially opened a few weeks ago. One report said that he had “several” scheduled visits, but we’ve yet to come across any other reported interest in him.

Randle, 24, is a former second-round pick of the Giants back in 2012. He’s played out his rookie contract with the team and is now testing the open market for the first time in his career.

In 2015, Randle appeared in all 16 games for the Giants and recorded 57 tackles, 797 yards receiving and eight touchdowns. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 77 receiver out of 121 qualifying players.

We have him featured in our Best Available Free Agents list.
